About the Magnetar 9000

The Magnetar 9000 is Nokta's first pulse induction (PI) gold detector and the most advanced machine we sell.

Pulse induction ignores most of the iron-rich, mineralised soil found in Zambia, Congo and West Africa. That is where ordinary detectors go quiet or make false signals. The Magnetar keeps going and reaches gold that is deeper in the ground.

It comes with two coils: a large 37 cm coil to cover ground and go deep, and a smaller 29 cm coil for tight places and old pits. It has a colour screen, Easy and Expert modes, and it is waterproof to 3 metres, so you can work riverbanks and shallow water. Two batteries come in the box, about 20 hours of work in total.

We show you how to use it before you leave the shop, and we keep helping you by phone and WhatsApp after you buy.

Best for: Serious prospectors, deep nuggets, hard and mineralised ground
